god your such a tool how is it a wwe type game XD just because THQ make WWE games oh wait they wernt that * dumb to use a other game engine in there mma game like EA did with fight night the lazy * *|||This thread makes no sense.
I still think EA has a long way to go. I may be wrong but I wasn't overly impressed with the last trailer, obviously I've not played the game but I sincerely doubt they'll stop trying until they are number one in the MMA genre in everybody's eyes and with all these UFC fanboys blindly following THQ and their WWE style gameplay, that may be a long time off yet.
If 2010 wasn't that good, it would make EA go in for the kill, not "give up" and be content.|||

It's not a simulation now is it you moron. That's where the WWE comment comes from. The career mode looks cheesy as hell and should suit someone as childish as yourself.
EA used the Fight Night engine for EA MMA because it is the best stand up fighting engine of all time in many people's eyes; mine included. There has never been a boxing game with such an instinctive and complete control system which uses superior physics and superior head movement.
And you completely missed the original point of the post; I think you only read the title. The point was that the 2010 demo was poor and EA might not bother to go all out as they don't have too much to compete against. Read posts before responding, you only read what you want to believe.|||UFC Undisputed has tons of stuff/features... But it has no balance. It's a joke to get a takedown in UFC 2010.|||
I mean, I played UFC's new demo. It wasn't really amazing, I enjoyed some small aspects of it, but overall, it was hardly an improvement in my eyes. This in turn, might convince EA they don't have to put too much more effort into the game, since from what I've seen, EA blows this game out of the water. Which is fine, I think EA is pretty sweet already, but I'd love if UFC didn't release so early, and kept their information under wraps, so EA would have to put all their cards into gameplay and work harder. With their release right around the corner (UFC's) I'm afraid EA will use these last few months as a breathing point, and release the game before it reaches it's full potential.
LMAO I want to spend a day in your world just to see what its like|||

It makes perfect sense, but nobody knows if it will actually happen or not.
The OP is saying that EA may think that the UFC game will be poor, so the pressure will be off EA. They may relax and lose some motivation because of the lack of competition. Whereas if the UFC game was just incredible, EA would have to step up their game and get their * into gear because they know if they don't create a spectacular game too, they won't sell many copies since a superior MMA game is available beforehand.
Feel me?|||There is no chance EA will be easing off now.. UFC 2009 sold upwards of 4 million copies, and expect UFC 2010 to exceed that number.. so there is no chance of EA easing off when the competition is managing those types of numbers..
Love it or hate it, undisputed sold alot of copies.. something that im sure the guys at EA will want to emulate, and hopefully do better than.
From what i've seen so far, the devs are doing a fantastic job, and i can see their passion to make a outstanding take on the sport of MMA, and i for one believe in what their doing, and where their going..|||
do you know how overwhelming a simulation of a mma game would be to play.Do yourself a favor and take up a bjj class or two and you tell me if you can even put that part of it in a game if you can get off you * that is. they used the fight night because yes was good FOR BOXING GAME why not start from the start?and anyway every one thinks it looks to much like fight night so they made the wrong move there anyway.also just because its not a simulation does not mean its like a wwe game were does that logic come from?lol. But yes i did just read the title THATS MY BAD still i cant say what i think of the subject|||

'Blah, blah, blah... everyone hates Fight Night... blah, blah, blah...', like you could even know that.
You didn't bother to read the original post but you sure as hell made sure you could read and critique my damn post. You know nothing about me or my background so don't make sweeping comments about my knowledge of the sport.
Striking is a big part of the game, they have a good striking engine that they have used as a base, not the whole damn show. THQ worked from the start and look at how half assed the striking and ground game are in UFC 2009. They should've started over for 2010; that's how bad it was.
Seriously dude, you need to get off of Dana's sack. Not replying to anymore of your * posts as you have no argument worth listening to.
Goodbye.|||Well this a stupid thread.|||
OK my bad about calling you fat it was a low blow the thing is fight night is not a good striking engine its a good punching engine and using it shows way to much in the footage they released of gameplay.Im sorry but it doesnt take much to see that people are thinking the same as i am look at any recent comment any place on the net im not making this stuff up and fight night sux because it didnt sell very well and EA put so much money behide it is was just an overly hard game to play.

Goodbye.
I dont think simulation work as combat sports theres just to much going around way to fast i think theres a happy middle that needs to be found i think UFC 2010 are no the right road and i hope EA dont go the way of a full simulation type game because its sure to fail like FN|||
can i ask you what you mean by joke?like is it to hard for you or to simple?
