Some Questions For EA

I have undisputed 09 liked it because only mma game I own, but it requires no strategy to play always a few powerful hits to the head on mount or wait and reverse and try a sub attempt rinse and repeat. I trained and still training in different styles of martial arts all standing like Kyoshin Karate, Kung fu, Tai Chi and Whin Chung, so I have a generally strategy when facing an opponent. I do not care for fighters or graphics but will buy EA MMA on gameplay only. In UFC you where not fighting the character but styles basically I can finish Brock in less than a minute on expert with nog in the first round by allowing him to do a few punches clinch flying armbar or defend against takedown and submit. In mma fighters do not use styles but different aspect of certain styles, therefore every fighter should be different. All my questions and suggestions are to try enhancing the game and giving some general feedback on to the public. I am not an expert in mma so some of my thinking can be wrong also not a writer therefore my english will not be the best.
1. How will stamina be calculated in the game because stamina is different in a standing and ground game? In a standing game muscle are usually relaxed and only exerted on attack, defense and taking damage. Also movement of the player also can contribute in a slight stamina reduction. I have no practical experience in the ground game but logically a fighter exerts more force on his opponent with maybe short breaks on the ground than standing up. Depending on the fighter‘s position more force will be required to maintain that position. Also taking into account EA ground game mechanics attacking to gain position won’t this reduce the fighter stamina greatly? Also in sports like football (soccer) recovery time is usually a fair assessment’s of player stamina.
2. How many standing styles will there be in the EA MMA. Will there be only styles from the fighter’s roster or extra additions to enhance originality. In the videos I have currently seen and most of mma there are mainly power styles e.g. Karate, kickboxing, boxing, muay tai and different variations. Power styles I mean when defending you meet the opponents’ power with power. Will there be any soft styles like Wing Chung, tai chi or kung fu where you don’t defend but attack simultaneously.
3. There were a concerned about the fighters’ range were in ea mma the game adjust the player to find his target rather than allow the player to fight in that range. In most styles there are effective ranges of combat in karate there are three ranges soou mai (one step from opponent usually for fast and aggressive fighters), yudo mai (one and a half step from the opponent basically for most fighters) and gendo mai (two steps from the opponent basically Machida range defensive and counter attacking). From soou mai half step or step closer will be wing chung or tai chi range where chi sao and sticking hands can be used. Half step closer muay tai range where elbows and knees can be used. Half a step closer will be clinching range. Notice how different styles maximize ranges. A suggestion can be by using undisputed scheme by effective strikes for different ranges by having the player find his range to beat his opponent weather slower or faster.
|||Punctuation is your friend :)
but seriously you should edit the post to make it easier for people to read, It's a big wall of text.|||It seems to me that you lack a lot of knowledge about MMA and grammar.
1. Basically how is stamina managed.
We don't know.
2. There obviously won't be wing chung, tai chi or kung fu considering the amount of times they have been proven to not work in an MMA/real life situation.
3. Not a question, you're basically saying they should make the striking ranges like Undisputed where it forces you to throw elbows at certain points.
In response I'm going to tell you that that is a terrible idea.|||Hate to be pedantic but his grammar/punctuation is fine, and strictly speaking his paragraphing is also there, just needed to press enter one more time for each paragraph :)
Don't be needlessly petty, answer the questions. Now that they've been answered we can all move on.|||

You know, they said the same thing about Karate until Machida and Kikuno showed up.|||Feel free to prove me wrong on how tai chi could work in MMA.|||

Feel free to prove me wrong on how tai chi could work in MMA.

BJ Penn said something about focusing on mind, body and soul going into this fight. I think that's similar to what Tai Chi is supposed to do :) If he manages to make Edgar's head explode with mind punches we'll know it is successful.|||Wall of text crits you for over 9,000 damage.

I read a book nearly every night, Books such as To Kill A Mockingbird, Crime and Punishment etc.

You sir are 100% correct. Not sure why one less space inbetween paragraphs automatically means everyone feels the need to get hostile, and ignore everything the OP said.
