ITS A MAJOR GLITC ......or LUGO IS WRONG!!!!!!

on classic controls i just found a big mistake...making the gameplay realy unbalanced
the tutorial says when you are on standup you can defend a takedown by moveing the RS back
(thats nice because you have to put your finger on the buttons to hit or at the stick do defend!!!!
YOU CANNT DEFENT A TAKEDOWN IF YOU PUNCH AND THE OPOSITE....
but i just realised you caN defend a takedown WITH -LS- TOO!!!!!!!!!!
THAT MEANS YOU CAN HIT AND DEFEND AT THE SAME TIME!!!!!
TSC PLAYERS CANT DO THAT because the right thump will be: or in the red button -B- to defent the takedown......or in the RS to make the total strike manuvers
CAN YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT AN ADVANTAGE IS THIS FOR THE CLASSIC CONTROLL PLAYERS???????
LUGO I THING YOU ARE WRONG!!!!|||Yes, you are correct, you can hold back on the left stick to stuff a takedown in Classic control.
BUT, I just tried it in TSC and I was able to do the same thing!!!
You can use the left stick to stuff takedowns in BOTH control schemes! So quit whining.
And a BIG thank you to EA for yet another great intuitive feature!|||Whoa, you can do the same thing with TSC? That's neat!|||cool|||I think, it only works, when you step back. Its not like you can hold down and punch at the same Time!
|||unless holding the left stick also stops clinch attempts, ill stick to the circle button.|||

it would be better to hit but cant defend and the osposite!!!!! as in real life
the sicors rock papper game....gone !!!!!
|||You can't defend takedowns while you're defending strikes. That's the "sicors rock papper" game. Now please learn to proof read.|||

Exactly.
And Giorgos, I know English isn't your first language but you are really butchering the language and the caps-lock thing is really bad as well.
No excuse to be typing like a complete spaz :)|||you have to flick. holding dont work. and in real life, you can easily sprawl off of a strike. so it should be this way. just a smaller window.|||Good to know flicking the LS works. I'm not sure if it's a good thing, though. Maybe the input should be used only for backsteps. I shouldn't get a free TD defense if my intention was to back-off from strikes. For now, I go with circle just fine.|||

do you know if this works against the clinch?|||I'm glad they made it this way. Classic controls users won't have this unfair td defense advantage over tpc users, and you should be able to attack and block a takedown. Otherwise people would just wait to be lit up by strikes so they could get an easy takedown, which would make everyone more gun-shy in the striking, and it would turn into a boring system of throwing 1 punch at a time|||Its not a glitch and how the hell is Lugo wrong? Yes you can defend TDs with the left stick but only if you "flick" backwards. Holding dont work and it doesnt work in any other direction just backwards which is actually a realistic setup. Flicking the LS in any direction is a quick step. When flicking backwards however you are hopping away from the TD which like in real life would make it harder to grab you. I'd say good job on that one Lugo. :) Oh and you cant defend and strike at the same time either.
