If this game is a failure, will the boards go crazy like the undisputed forums ?...

topic|||it won't be a failure...|||No.
/end.|||good answer kids|||EA doesn't know the definition of failure|||It wont be failure in term of sales even if they somehow manage to f up the game (is that possible at this point ?). EA has failed with their sports games in the past like with FIFA ,NHL ect but nowdays they tend to make better sports games than competition.|||No, the Undisputed forums are one of the worst communities in the history of video games. Even worse than Warcraft. There is no way anyone here would act like that under any circumstance.|||As soon as the game comes out I'll probably leave the board.|||im assuming that the same thing will happen as with the FN forums,
itll go crazy for a while then about 3 weeks later itll be left with the people who want the game to become 10 times better next time round|||

I agree with this. Few months before UFC undisputed 2010 released I write a topic about using a real fighter in career mode and there weren't any pleasant answer there. They simply wrote like "Stop asking for some childish request", yeah a stuff like that and that's why I stoped to make any thread there. UFC undisputed forum is the worst video game forum.|||Every game goes through that phase. The key is to keep the complaints to a minimum. No game will be perfect and they all will have their flaws, but when a game is great there is no denying it's a masterpiece. If you look at games series like Halo, Call of Duty, MGS, and GOW, they all have been bashed for one flaw or another, but the overall quality of these games make them legendary. EA MMA will be a wonderful experience without a doubt and although it will have it flaws I see it really changing the way MMA and fighting games are made. My only concern is that EA does not get complacent with this series like they did with Madden. Hopefully they can keep this title inventive and fresh.|||No. Just...no.
It'll take the mods going on permanent vacation for that to happen.
And I doubt anyone here is gonna make a thread proposing EA refund every customer their money back.
http://community.ufcundisputed.com/forums/topic/239267|||Depends on what you mean by failure.
If you mean the game is good but a sales flop then I don't think the forums will go nuts.
If the game is just terrible then yes, these boards are gonna light up.
Here's some ways EA can avoid making the same mistakes as THQ
1- Don't screw up the online portion. It should be easy to find matches and the matches should be as lag free as possible.
2- Don't screw up the combat system. Standup, subs, ground game, it all needs to be balanced and there's not one super move that can be spammed or one super tactic.
3- Either a demo or open beta for the MP to get feedback to make sure the combat system can't be abused before launch.
I'm sure the game will have some glitches or unbalanced moves when it comes out but I doubt it'll be to the extent of the UFC game so we will see some post pointing out the flaws but it won't be (at least I hope it won't be) 30-40 new topics complaining about the game.|||It wont happen , though I do fear that the online wont work as people expect it at the start and will have a lot of complaints. Thats just how EA is when they release a game. Almost all EA games for the first week or two has poor online connection people need to relax if thats the case with EA MMA
I think it will be a sucess even if this game doesn't have 100 features or anything like that.|||I cant win a button tap war, I hate that style, so it already wins in that department....
I love strikeforce....
I expect to love this game....I trust EA has also played undisputed, and seen the many flaws...and moreso the things they left out...credit EA for already hyping the hype videos..poor undisputed doesnt even have a replay option.
