I wanna know why he called his Arm Triangle an Armbar.

I noticed that too when I watched it on TV, I'm pretty sure he did that so people didn't get confused since a lot of people who watch the show know little to nothing about MMA. He wanted to make sure their heads didn't explode due to a MMA knowledge overload, so he just said armbar so people would be like "O I KNO WAT DAT IS!!!! "|||

I noticed that too when I watched it on TV, I'm pretty sure he did that so people didn't get confused since a lot of people who watch the show know little to nothing about MMA. See I take the same stance with this as I do with people who speak broken english to someone so they can "understand them better".
If they aren't exposed to the proper terminology, how will they learn? Sure, you may have to explain it to them, or if they really want to know they could look it up on wikipedia. But the fact of the matter is, dumbing down speech is a bad habit.
I employ the use of my vernacular at every possible contextually acceptable moment.|||

Yeah but this is a 30 minute TV show about beating up *, not about teaching MMA or even really giving any knowledge of it... Just about getting revenge on bullies. I had to look up the definition of the word vernacular by the way lol.|||saw this the other night. i was commenting about miller should fight for once, then he did. i was pretty excited and miller owned the kid so hard. ive seen some episodes where the bully puts up a good fight. glad to see miller own the * out of the kid. also glad to see a little bit of seriousness from him|||that was awesome|||Ok so how much would it take for you to get the bully treatment? 10k? more? I'd do it, grappling round I would just buttscoot everywhere and hold them in my guard. Striking round I would spam the body :).|||That one episode where the bully wins 10k was hilarious. Some tough russian and he's all like, russians have no fear, and then he wins the whole 10k. Miller was upset.
