And one final WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH for all you poor infant children.|||It's not that we don't like the game. It look's awesome. It could just be improved so much and it's important to give some constructive criticisim|||
Not so they can adjust the striking system. From what I saw, it's great for what you expect. Their first MMA game. it'll have some minor issues, but you all have expectations that are far too high for their first attempt. Give em two years, maybe they'll be closer to your dreams. Sheesh, between you guys whining, and UFC hating, I can't find a nice place to just sit back, and goat about how fantastic the game looks.
And one final WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH for all you poor infant children.
So what if its their first MMA game? That makes it even more important that its good.
Its hardly whining its called constructive critisicm, you should try it sometime instead of just posting pointless threads that contribute towards nothing.
I want the best game possible an i'll try my best to get it.|||It's called WAHHHHHH|||The game was never delayed, actually ahead of schedule.|||
It's called WAHHHHHH
Seriously, what point is there of you being on these forums?
A guy making a thread moaning about guys 'moaning'. Oh the irony!|||

This.
At this point, I wouldn't mind if they delayed it a while, although I don't think they can considering FN has to be out next year.|||Its better to have high expectations and criticism than just agree with everyone they show us. Id like to believe the developers think the same way.
Obviously it is their first game but when lowkicks look so * and a single different animation can make the whole presentation look better, should we not mention it? I think there is still time left to do some work, and I cant wait to see the improvements they might make in these crucial last months.
Unlike THQ who stated in February that their 2010 game was done, and they were working on 2011, I am expecting EA to put some work in these last few months that contain some important parts which eventually will lead to this game kicking some major *.|||If this is all you're here to say, go back to the UFC forums, we're giving useful information here that is crucial to the games developement. We want an awesome MMA game and EA has all the tools to deliver it to us, they have the devs that actually listen.
If delaying the game is what it takes to give us a final product with close to no flaws then so be it. Your set on the UFC Undisputed mindset to where all you think is, "well this version is OK it's missing a lot of things but it's good enough, we'll add the rest of the stuff next year". It's not too late for them to fix the problems with the striking, and even if it is going to have to delay the game, I'm fine with it. I'm sure majority of the people here would rather have the game delayed by a bit rather than having to deal with the same problems the UFC game had.|||Better to sit and cry as you would probably it, rather than say nothing at all. I would love to see EA hit it out of the park with their first game instead of everyone wishing they would have fixed and tweaked certain things while they had the time. Why wait another 2 years to fix something when they still have time to do it now? This is probably a troll thread, but whatever, thats my view.|||I visit both forums religiously. I like reading some of the whining, especially from UFC Fanboys, because they're the definition of fanatics. I just don't understand how people can be disappointed with this game. It has it's flaws, but some of the complaining threads are just down right mean. The developers devoted alot of time and money into this game, and given the time they had, and resources, I'd say they accomplished quite abit. The kicks look maybe alittle off, but I like that they're slow. You shouldn't be able to kick lightning quick, it should have a risk to it, such as taking a vicious cross, or having someone shoot. Risk/Reward.|||I was watching the video with Overeem and Fedor. The combos that Reem was throwing looked fast enough and really fluid. I don't see anything wrong with it.
The knees and kicks could be a little faster, but they are really good still. I actually think the knees are fine. I don't see an issue with that. I always felt like Undisputed was a little stiff and robotic. The knees and kicks came fast and could be repeated over and over without them getting sloppier or slower. I don't know how many people can chain headkicks and knees repeatedly at a fast pace. Especially when you're throwing them a second after the last.
I saw a lot of issues with clipping though. Especially when Fedor and Reem were in each others guard. And when Fedor was submitting Reem.
EDIT: I think it would be better for presentation to have multiple HUD's. Like when fighting in Strikeforce. Seeing Strikeforce's hexagon fight clock in the lower right. Have it expand and collapse the same way it does on TV when it shows the fighters, differentiates their trunks, and shows the round. Also having every other promotions' unique displays, including the pretend ones.|||

You obviously don't visit this forum that much if you think that's the case. Almost everyone on this forum is grateful to have such good devs who actually interact and listen to the community. We are giving constructive criticism to help the developement of the game. We're certainly not completely disappointed with the game, most of us actually love the way it looks so far, but if it stays this way and doesn't change at all up to the release point we will be disappointed, because of all the potential it has. The game will obviously get way better than from what we've even seen at e3 since that is still not the final build of the game, we just want to make sure that everything that needs to be fixed is fixed.
Kicks aren't the only thing wrong with the striking, IMO the kicks do need to be a bit faster though and look more fluid. It looks as if the fighter who's using the kick against his opponent, is getting hurt more than the fighter on the receiving end, checked or not checked. The footwork looks as if they are gliding across the cage at some points and the punches look weak because they don't have enough hip and shoulder movement/rotation. These are a few of the problems IMO.
I love the way the game is looking so far and even now in it's early build I think it's over 9000x! better than the UFC game, it could still use the improvements, which is why us little guys are here to give some opinions and discuss it with others to see if they agree. Then the dev's can use the information since they listen to us so well.|||I could spend the sixty dollars on food, clothing, girlfriend, sister, brother, but I'll spend it on the game. I as a consumer expect the best.|||I rather see the game delayed, and have a better game because of it. The thing is that there isn't a lot of flaws to begin with. There are a few minor adjustments, punch speed, make the punches look more powerful, and have less KOs and more TKOs, especially on the ground. The major flaws are the kicking and the movement around the cage.
The blood, cuts, ground game, submissions, takedowns, cage work, clinch, rocked animation, and fludity of the game are all good. The devs have done a great job on the game, and with three months left I am sure that they can improve the flaws of the game.
