PS3's freezing issues need to be addressed

I'm paranoid about my PS3's health whenever I have to force reset/turn off due to a freeze. But that's not even the main issue I have with it on EA MMA.
In three days, I have lost my data three times. I didn't play the game 24/7 either. I have (had) 21 career fights and 25 online fights. When the game freezes with the saving screen on top, get ready to lose your career/CAF's...
It's ridiculous. I lost my data 5 min ago, so I just downloaded CAF's and editted the stats (lowered them). Tried to upload the fighter and it froze again... I mean come on. I lost the data just 5 min ago and I lost it again. I really don't want to DL CAF's daily
(To the dev's, it seems to freeze a lot at the CAF selection screen at "My Fighters." Hope that helps)|||If you are having a problem with freezing, it is likely due to the Blu-ray diode laser. To get around this problem, copy EA MMA directly to the hard drive and play the game right off the internal hard drive (or external USB hard drive if you want) so you don't need the disc in the drive.

|||I am also having this problem and it is continuous, it a bit poor considering how long the game was in development, and I eve tried deleting other game data of my PS3 hard drive as I thought maybe it was lack of space that may of caused the game to freeze up, so now I've unnecessary deleted a fair bit of saved data for other games for no reason, then I tried cutting back on CAF's and just kept Strikeforce fighters DL, namely Antonio Silva and Cavalcante, and nope, still crashed and burned, well, crashed and froze actually and yep, all CAF data wiped, I'm gonna be taking my copy back as enjoy the game but principle that paid £40 for something that doesnt work, and i'll wait for a patch or something before reconsidering about repurchasing the game, which a shame as it actually a fun game personally|||Same thing here! All of my CAFs got deleted and the game has freezed t least 3 times. 1 time was on the 1st day. I haven't started a CAF. MY game face always comes out looking like *.
I haven't really played the game in the past week. Too many... not so much problems but the game is not fun online. I prefer UFC online (though that sucks as well).... but I am going too stick with NHL'11
